The following teams are all critically instrumental in our ability to meet the needs of our members, visitors and our nearby communities. We encourage you to click any of the links below to learn more about how to connect and serve with us.
Administrative
Do you have a few minutes to help make copies, return phone calls, contact church visitors or help with large mailings? Field incoming calls, assist with directing callers to the appropriate people, answering questions from guests and providing them information as needed or requested.
Bookstore
Are you gifted in customer service? Provide our members and visitors with faith-based Christian products and inspirational materials.
Economic Empowerment
Heighten financial awareness and empowerment throughout the church and community through resources and education. We are currently recruiting persons with financial services, legal, estate planning and wealth management, job readiness, job placement, human resources and operations backgrounds to the team.
First Touch Ambassadors
Do you have a heart for people and a warm personality? Help create and maintain a transformative worship experience by inspiring people with smiles, waves, and excellent attitudes; to assist in creating an experience that will make it easy for people to connect with God and our church free from distractions and frustrations
Health Awareness
This team also assists in raising awareness regarding issues that our community faces, planning fitness and nutrition seminars or providing basic health care during experiences.
Hospitality
Are you creative and love to serve? Provide a memorable experience to first time visitors and creates an inviting environment for all our church events ensuring the highest quality in service to all.
Member Services
Volunteers in this area can expect to serve at the reception desk in our Life Center and the main Worship Center. Also, these volunteers will assist staff and ministry leaders with activities such as baby dedications, new member orientation and special activities.
Nursing Home
The first Saturday of each month at 10am host a worship experience at the Park Manor Nursing Home. No experience required. This is a great opportunity for children and families to develop relationships with our elders, invest in the community and share the love of God. Arrive at 9:45am with a smile.
Parking Lot & Facilities
Ensure worshippers are able to easily navigate the parking lot as they arrive on campus and prepare for our weekly experiences and that our facilities are always “open house ready” and in pristine condition. Expect to assist with parking coordination, welcome special guests, and help with special needs/request.
Prayer
This prayer team prays for the church and the needs of its members with confidentiality, discretion and a commitment. If God has placed a selfless desire of prayer on your heart

Senior Adults, 55+
Rediscover dreams and visions that have been put aside, develop intergenerational relationships, discover new talents, skills and ideas. Preserve the best of the traditions of the past and light the way to the future.
Social Justice
The Social Justice Team undergirds the Social Engagement pillar of The Luke. This team is tasked with developing voter registration drives, voter deputy opportunities, panels, and other events that create an awareness on social justice issues. If you have the passion for addressing the issues that impact the local and global community, this ministry is for you!
