Children’s and Nursery Ministry serves kids ages infant-5thgrade in The Luke Life Center. Preschoolers and children learn while they play. We encourage hands on play so that children are learning through all their senses. Painting and other “messy” activities are also encouraged, so use your own judgment about how dressed up your child is while at church. Our Middle and High School students usually dress casually for their programming on Wednesday evenings.
The general guideline used by the church is that a child should be able to clearly articulate their personal belief and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Baptism is not a rite of passage, nor is it necessary for salvation. Most children are at least 6 years of age before they are prepared for baptism.
